I am having problems using the mouse for extended periods and wanted a method to access links quickly through the keyboard.
This script places superscript access keys on the upper right hand side of all links on a page. You can access the links using the ALT key in combination with the displayed key.
To reach links with duplicate access keys just press the combination multiple times until that link is highlighted. The highlighting is very crude but sufficient for my needs.
The styles are embedded in the script and are easily customizable. You can also modify a Javascript array of keys to eliminate keys that are in conflict with other hot keys you use with toolbars, etc.
You may also wish to add other sites to the exclude section of the script as it can slow down pages with a large number of links on them.
Really not bad, especially when your browsing video sites! You don't have to search for the small "next" or ">>" buttons, you just repeat the ALT+Hotkey....great idea!
